Developed
for the leisure and commercial maritime market sector, the MTS GateKeeper system has a number of special features and has
been developed in consultation with maritime security specialists for seaward marina access control and monitoring. The system
provides operators with automatic logging of all boat movements,in and out of marinas. When interfaced to a membership database, the
system can be programmed to automatically generate invoices, and obtain extensive market survey information.
To monitor, record and report the movements
of vessels entering and leaving the marina via a network of GPRS readers. The readers will feed the information back to a
fully hosted application allowing the client to view and report on all registered vessels via the Internet.
Each vessel is fitted with an active broadcast
RFID tag, which will transmit the vessel ID to the fixed readers, which will in turn relay the information back to the hosted
asset management platform. Marina management access to the information will be via
a secure website, with an expandable online database.
